The Brussels Air Museum Fund A.S.B.L.
The Association's objective is the maintaining, restoring and promoting of aviation heritage inherent in the collection of aircraft as well as cooperation in national and international events with a view to promoting the people - and military aviation, on a national and international level.

In this context, the Association shall help all other associations having anything to do with its objective. It may for example, assist and participate in similar activities connected with its own objectives.

Installed within the air base of Florennes, seat of the 2 Tactical Wing of the Component Air (Belgian Air ex-Force), the Spitfire museum is also known under the name of: Museum Colonel Aviateur R. Lallemant D.F.C.

This Museum offers a framework of exception and it presents, among the florets of its collections, the planes and other objects related to the world of aeronautics.

Some old of the Air force met in Bierset in order to safeguard in a museum the rich history of the unit. Indeed, the history of the base of Bierset goes back directly to 1914.

The main theme of the 1WHC is to evoke the history of the units of the Base of Beauvechain of 1935 to our days while insisting on the presence of the Fighter force of 1946 to 1996.
